At the 1962 Christmas Party on board the
Proteus, we were
assigned to take care of two children from the Kirn Children's Home.
Think about this, they were about 10 years old then,
now they could be grandmothers. And yes, that's me.
And the person on the right side with a shadow on his nose is
Bob Peters. This was brought to my attention by a email from Bob.

Bob Peters is at the left ( only half of his face ).
One might think that Bob was following me around to get in the pictures
so 35 years later he could see himself on the Inertnet.
The real reason is that the mess hall was crowed and thats where Santa was.

The side of the Drydock Christmas 1962,
The lights say, Peace On Earth, and we would add, Or Else!
